The Executive Office for Immigration Review ("EOIR) has announced that it will launch a new, more secure, automated case status information system -- effective 23 August 2010. Whilst the toll-free number will not change (1-800-898-7180), a new local number will be in service (1-240-314-1500). Callers will need to enter the A number assigned to their case, as well as the date of the charging document.
